Botik "Fortuna" was one of the first boats of Toy Army on Plesheevo Lake and was set afloat in spring 1689. It was built by a Holland craftsman Karsten Brant and Tsar Peter personally took part in the process of its construction. Peter I used the boat as his private yacht for a few years before august 1692.
At present one can see Botik "Fortuna" in the specially-built estate-museum not far from Pereslavl. It is an oak boat with full Holland-type hull lines.

The kit is packed into a full-colour cardboard folder and contains the following:

  1. Sheets of laser-cut cardboard packed into a plastic bag with a reusable zip.
  2. Two sheets of map paper (size A4) with patterns that have printed wood structure.
  3. A detailed coloured instruction.

The kit is also packed into a plastic bag.

The assembling of Botik is quite easy even for those with no previous modelling experience. The patterns are very accurate and do not require any additional adjustment. To assemble Botik you will need ordinary tools (such as scissors, a box cutter, an awl, etc.) and paper-to-paper adhesive.

The model fully copies the inner construction of a boat of that time. That is why the assembled model is very eye-catching.
